Welcome to Savvyscale ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website at savvyscale.io or send us a message through the contact form, what we do with it, who processes it for us, and what your privacy rights are. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

This website has no user accounts. We collect personal data when you send the contact form and when your browser loads the website:

• Identity Data: First name and last name, from the contact form.
• Contact Data: Email address, and a telephone number if you choose to give one.
• Message: Whatever you write in the optional message field.
• Consent Records: That you accepted this policy, which is required to send the form. Whether you checked the optional box to receive marketing communications. The date and time of your submission.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information. We use your IP address to protect the contact form from spam and repeated submissions. We do not save it in our database.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, collected by analytics tools only if you accept statistics cookies.
• Marketing Data: Information about your visit collected by the LinkedIn and X marketing tags, only if you accept marketing cookies.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our services
• To respond to your inquiries and requests, and to follow up on them
• To send you an email confirming that we received your message
• To send you marketing communications, only if you checked the optional box on the contact form
• To protect the contact form from spam and abuse
• To understand how our website is used and to measure our advertising, only if you accept the matching cookies
• To comply with legal obligations

We process the details you send through the contact form on the basis of the consent you give when you check the required box. We send marketing communications only on the basis of the separate, optional consent. Analytics and marketing tags run only with the consent you give in the cookie banner. You can withdraw any of these consents at any time (see Your Rights below).

When you send the contact form, the following happens:

• We check the submission. Google reCAPTCHA scores it for spam, and we limit how many submissions one IP address or one email address can make in an hour. A submission that fails a check is not stored.
• We store your details in our database.
• We send a confirmation email to the address you gave.
• We create a lead with your details in Salesforce, our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• We notify our team by email and in an internal Slack channel, so that someone can reply to you.

We use the following service providers to run this website and to handle your messages:

• Neon: Hosts the database where contact form submissions are stored.
• SendGrid: Sends the confirmation email to you and the notification email to our team.
• Salesforce: Our CRM, where your details are kept as a lead.
• Slack: Our internal messaging tool, where a notification with your name, contact details and message is posted for our team.
• Vercel: Hosts the website and runs the code that handles the contact form. As the host, it processes your IP address to deliver the website. If a step of the form fails, its error logs record your email address and may record your name.
• Google: Provides reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address when you send the contact form. Google also provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which we use for analytics only if you accept statistics cookies.
• Cookiebot: Provides the cookie banner and records your cookie choices.
• LinkedIn and X: Receive information about your visit through their marketing tags, only if you accept marketing cookies.

Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there. This means your personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

We may also share your personal data with third parties in the following circumstances:

• Professional advisers including lawyers and accountants
• Regulators and other authorities who require reporting
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights

We keep the details you send through the contact form for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and to stay in contact with you. We have not set a fixed retention period, and submissions are not deleted automatically at this time.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your Rights below). An erasure request also covers the copies of your details held in Salesforce, SendGrid and Slack.

Data collected through analytics and marketing tags is held by the providers of those tools, not in our database.

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees and partners who have a business need to know.

Under data protection laws, you have rights including:

• Right to access: Request copies of your personal data
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Right to restrict processing: Request limitation of processing
• Right to data portability: Request transfer of your data
• Right to object: Object to processing of your personal data
• Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting processing that took place before

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live or work. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
