The first Salesforce Summit Sofia (opens in a new tab) took place on 1 October 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sofia. Savvyscale (opens in a new tab) CEO Dimitar Bonev (opens in a new tab) joined the Salesforce Partner panel on “The Ethics & Efficiency of AI” and shared a five-step plan for getting any business ready for AI.

The Partner panel was moderated by Adam Bukkosy (opens in a new tab), Alliances Partner Account Senior Manager at Salesforce.
"To say that AI is changing the game would be an understatement", said Dimitar Bonev. "It fundamentally changes how we work and interact with each other as humans, too. This is where ethical execution makes a real difference to how efficient AI is. Ethics is not just about a set of rules or norms, it is about being genuine. Customers will always sense when something is completely AI-generated, we see it everywhere - lazy prompts, bad data and completely removing humans from the process are all ingredients to a messy output."
Additionally, Dimitar outlined how an AI-driven CRM implementation should look in today's world, and what it means to really embrace the customisation of the platform - with a focus on financial and insurance services. He pointed out that while previously perceived as a traditional one, the financial industry is now leading the progress in technology, data processing and customer service.
Earlier in the day, Generali Bulgaria, Nexo (opens in a new tab) and NIK Electronics (opens in a new tab) spoke in the customer panel “Achieving Digital Transformation in the New Era of AI”. Client and partner stories really highlighted the unique challenges each business faces. From ensuring top of market customer service when it comes to insurance - in Generali's case; to driving the cutting-edge technology in agriculture, like NIK are doing.

The customer stories had one thing in common. They were all fascinated by the ability of Salesforce to be customised to their needs, but also curious about what more it can do for them, especially in the age of AI.
How can a business be ready for the new age of CRM?
In response, our CEO Dimitar outlined a game plan that each business can use:
- Stay within the Salesforce (opens in a new tab) system - ensure your tech stack is being updated and coherently managed regularly, instead of buying from many different and often mismatched vendors.
- Treat the CRM as a revenue engine - not just a place for processing and storing as every customer interaction is an opportunity to excel.
- Don't try to be everything all at once - focus on your core products and services and let a trusted Salesforce partner deliver the maximum value to you.
- Reimagine how you use the technology itself - let your mind explore opportunities in the AI world that weren't available before.
- Ensure everything you do complies with the relevant regulation - to ensure maximum customer trust and peace of mind.
At Savvyscale, our focus remains on implementing Salesforce in an agile and compliant manner.
We design Salesforce what you don't see coming.

The Summit's programme also included a keynote on reimagining business with AI, a live demonstration of Agentic AI, and sessions on Marketing Cloud Next, Data Cloud (Data 360), Tableau Next, Agentforce Service and Security.
Savvyscale thanks the Salesforce team for organising the first Salesforce Summit in Sofia, and everyone who joined the conversation on the day.
